Construction Updates
Building the Future Together
LIVING HOPE MISSION HEADQUARTERS UPDATE

Construction is progressing on the Mission Headquarters, with work now underway on the second-level walls, including both exterior and interior walls for spaces such as the storage room, service room, and bathrooms. Three of the four main staircases are now completely finished, and the beautiful second-floor canopy over the front entrance is complete as well. Right now, workers are busy sorting and clearing away the wooden beams, metal supports, and other materials that held up the structure during this stage. In the coming weeks, work will continue on the walls throughout all three levels, along with completing the fourth main staircase and the service staircase leading to the rooftop.
As more children arrive at Esperanza Viva Youth Home, we are grateful for the opportunity to make room for them and provide the care they need. Once completed, the Mission Headquarters will allow us to move ministry offices off the Youth Home campus, creating additional space for more children to have a home, safety, community, and opportunities to grow. Please continue to pray for our Mission Headquarters as construction moves forward, and for the safety of everyone working on the project.
The Mission Headquarters is being built to support the work behind everything we do, creating space that strengthens the care and consistency the children experience every day. We’re excited, knowing God is leading the way.

A Church for the Lost and the Hurting
New Church Plant Update
We’ve officially broken ground on the church!
Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, encouraged us, and been part of this journey. We’re so incredibly grateful for the people who have stood with us and helped us get to this moment.
This is a big moment for us. What started as a prayer and a dream is now becoming a reality. To see the building finally begin and to watch the first steps of construction take place is such an answered prayer. We’re excited to see the building go up and to watch something we’ve prayed about for so long finally take shape.
I’m incredibly grateful for the building that’s being built, and I’m excited for what it will become. There’s something special about knowing that one day we’ll walk through these doors and see this place full of people.
That’s what I’m looking forward to most—the people who will be saved here. Not just when we open the doors, but for years and years to come. The families who will be reached, the lives that will be changed, and the people who will encounter Jesus here.
Breaking ground is a huge step, and we’re just so thankful. God has been faithful, and we’re excited to see what He does next.

Oaxaca Mission Updates
Update from Miguel & Bridget Gomez, Living Hope missionaries serving in Chalcatongo, Oaxaca
“We are excited to see the great progress of the future home of Nations Church in the village of Chalcatongo, in the Mixtec region of Oaxaca. High in the mountains and surrounded by beautiful forests and corn fields, the long-awaited promise is now coming to fruition. Nations has owned this plot of land for several years, and the building that is almost complete contains the foyer, bathrooms, and space for a cafeteria. Future phases of construction will include a larger auditorium, office, classrooms, kitchen, and other multipurpose areas. For now, this space will allow the current house-church congregation to meet for Sunday services, Bible studies, prayer meetings, youth gatherings, and much more. Great opportunities are coming, and the local believers are anticipating meeting in this building as soon as September.”
