Pray

Prayer Requests

As we look ahead, we remain confident that God is already preparing the way. Thank you for standing with us in prayer as the vision of Living Hope continues to grow and touch more lives in the days to come.

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
– Ephesians 6:18 NIV

Esperanza Viva

  • We ask for prayer for our clinic staff at Esperanza Viva. The daily responsibility of meeting each child’s physical and emotional needs requires wisdom, patience, and care. With more children receiving care, there is much to be done as these newly welcomed boys and girls adjust to life at Esperanza Viva. Pray for wisdom, endurance, and an added measure of love for our clinic team. Pray also that God would strengthen them each day and that, through consistent care and support, we would see these children heal, grow, and experience lasting change in their lives.

Nations School

  • The school year has just begun at Nations School. While every new school year brings its own challenges, we are hopeful and praying for God to move in every area of school life.

Pray for our teachers and daycare staff as they care for and encourage each child each day. Ask God to give them love, patience, and wisdom as they teach and guide their students. Pray also for parents, that they would be encouraged as they see their children learn and thrive at Nations School.

Living Hope Outreach

  • Thanks to teams of volunteers from the US and Mexico, plus the faithful volunteers from Nations Church, the outreach efforts in San Martin and the villages in Oaxaca are moving forward. Work teams have done a great job improving the mission base in San Martin through maintenance projects, and the church construction in Chalcatongo is progressing steadily. Pray for these places to be havens of refuge, hope, and the message of Jesus to be shared with many more people. Pray for more people willing to serve in these areas that are still unreached.

Nations Ministry Institute

New Students
  • In the month of August, we were thrilled to receive our 45th group of students at Nations Ministry Institute, ready to spend 18 weeks studying, serving, and going deeper in their relationship with God. There are 18 young people from all over Mexico and the United States, with a sincere desire to be trained for serving God full-time and discover their callings. Pray for all of these students, especially during these first weeks, as they adjust to dorm life at the Institute.

Nations Church

  • As we enter autumn, we are starting up with discipleship courses and small groups across all our campuses in Puebla and in the mission churches in Oaxaca. Pray that many people would get involved, including those who are joining a group or class for the first time. Pray that these opportunities would help people grow in their faith, learn more about God, find meaningful community, and experience His healing and freedom in their lives. Pray especially for those who are new to faith, that God would meet them where they are and use these groups and classes to strengthen their relationship with Him and help them take their next steps.

Living Hope International

Global Fundraising Month
  • Each year, Living Hope has a fundraising focus in September. This year’s theme is “Restoring Childhoods Rebuilding Futures”. Please pray for the benefit events, that many people will be inspired to partner with Living Hope as we seek to reach and rescue more children and see their futures changed by the love and hope found in Jesus. Pray for safe travels and good health for everyone traveling stateside to make our benefit events possible.

Missions

Oaxaca Church Project

  • Please be in prayer for our missionary staff, church volunteers, and ministry institute students as they are busy making preparations for the dedication ceremony at the site of the church in Chalcatongo, Oaxaca. This is a great victory, as much work, prayer, resources, and time have been invested in this project. Pray for no setbacks in finishing the building and good climate for this special day. We are believing for a great harvest of people coming to know Jesus in this new church building.
