Living Hope: Outreach
San Martin Esperillas
The need to reach unreached people is central to our calling. Please pray that the efforts in San Martin Esperillas and the remote mission bases in the state of Oaxaca would positively impact many families, bringing the light of Jesus to dark places. Pray for the volunteers, missionaries, pastors, and field workers, that they would be led and protected by God in every place they go to preach the Gospel.
Living Hope Benefit Events
- We are excited to begin the year with plans for a number of special events to raise awareness and funds for the ministries we lead. Please pray for the partners who are collaborating with our team, hosting and planning these fundraisers, as well as the in-house team as they dedicate their time and efforts to make each of these events successful. We believe that through prayer and teamwork, more people will join us in the crucial mission of rescuing children, raising leaders, and reaching the unreached for Jesus.
Esperanza Viva
Staffing
As a new year begins, there are new openings in several positions within Esperanza Viva, including caregivers for the children. Please support us with your prayers that God would bring the right people to fill these openings. Pray the men and women who come would have a heart to serve and love the children, guiding them with supernatural grace and compassion.
Nations School
Education
- Nations School is kicking off the second part of the school year. As we are a school with open enrollment year-round and we have new children arriving at Esperanza Viva Youth Home regularly, the class sizes vary considerably. Please pray for our teachers and students, that the students would have a special grace to adjust to new classmates, and that the teachers would be able to integrate the students into their routines. We also ask that you pray for everyone to have a smooth transition back into classes after a lengthy pause for the holidays.
Nations Ministry Institute
In this period between courses, the Nations Ministry Institute team is focused on recruiting new students and further enriching the courses offered. Pray for confirmation in the hearts of the young people considering enrolling in the spring course, and for wisdom in discipling the returning Level 2 students. Believe with us for many young people set apart to be trained to become passionate leaders in their generation.
Nations Church
Please pray for all the people at Nations Church as we head into 2025 with the theme of being “Found in Him”, a challenge to abide in Jesus and bear much fruit. The year will kick off with a 21-day fasting and prayer initiative and we will join in starting up our discipleship course, called Foundations. This is a key time for new commitments to Bible study and memorization, a call to water baptism, and a deeper commitment to be active members of the congregation.
