Why We Are Building the Church
For more than thirty years, God has led Living Hope to rescue children, raise leaders, and reach the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each step of the way, we have seen His faithfulness and provision. Now, He is leading us into a new chapter—the planting of a new church that will be a spiritual home for the children and youth of Esperanza Viva, a base to send out missionaries and servants, and a place from which the lost and the hurting, and even the unreached, will hear the Good News. This church will be their church—a place where they belong, where they are discipled, and where they can grow as the next generation of believers. Here, the kids will experience what it means to be part of the Body of Christ. They will worship together, serve together, and discover their own calling in God’s Kingdom in a space that is designed with their growth in mind. This spiritual foundation is what will carry them into adulthood and equip them to live out their faith for the rest of their lives.
A Church for the Kids
This church will be their church—a place where they belong, where they are discipled, and where they can grow as the next generation of believers. Here, the kids will experience what it means to be part of the Body of Christ. They will worship together, serve together, and discover their own calling in God’s Kingdom in a space that is designed with their growth in mind. This spiritual foundation is what will carry them into adulthood and equip them to live out their faith for the rest of their lives.

A Base for Missions
Connected with the existing Nations Churches in Puebla and Oaxaca, it will serve as a sending church—strengthening the ministry established in these communities and equipping missionaries and servants to share the message of Jesus in communities near and far.
This church will be a foundation for multiplication: people encountering the Gospel, being transformed, and then reaching others with the same Living Hope they have received.
Reaching the Unreached
The call of the Gospel is clear: to go into all the world and preach the Good News. Even as we care for children and disciple leaders, we cannot lose sight of those who have not yet heard. This church will be a lighthouse in our city, welcoming the lost and the hurting, but it will also be a launching point to reach the unreached.
God has placed this church in a part of the city that is in great need—an area marked by spiritual poverty, where families are struggling and hope can feel distant. By planting the new church here, we are establishing a living testimony of God’s love, bringing light into darkness, and creating a place where lives can be restored and made new.
Our vision is that through building this new campus of Nations Church, many will come to faith in Christ—both in Puebla, and in distant places where the name of Jesus has not yet been proclaimed. The children growing up here, the missionaries and servants sent out, and the leaders raised up will all play a role in seeing the Great Commission fulfilled.

More Than a Building
We believe God is already planting visions for our next steps, and we eagerly anticipate how He will lead us. Building this church is one of those steps of faith—a step we take with full confidence that He will use it to transform lives now and for eternity.
